Sprinkler System Testing

All properties that have a non-domestic sprinkler system must be routinely tested to make sure the water supplies, alarm bell and fire appliances are in proper working order. The relevant British Standard recommends that this is carried out weekly or as is determined by the fire risk assessment. There are penalties for non-compliance.

Nationwide Sprinkler Testing from Metro Safety

Metro Safety’s Sprinkler System Testing service helps to fulfil your insurance requirements by identifying any possible impediments to the sprinkler system and ensuring its proper functioning in the event of a fire. Our experienced testers would examine the activation pressures of your sprinkler system, alarm and pumps to check for any faults. The visit would then be recorded in the logbook providing an audit trail for your compliance records.

Building Knowledge

Our pre-service audit enables us to design a comprehensive testing procedure for every building, allowing our testers to assess the sprinkler system safely and successfully. This allows us to test and report with complete building and system knowledge, ensuring the service runs as smoothly as possible.

Tenant Liaison

When tenants are happy we know it means less work for you. Our testers liaise with on-site personnel prior to each test to avoid confusion and minimise disruption.

Clear Reports & Records

Clear site information is distributed to you through monthly electronic reports and serious faults are reported on the day they are identified. Visit records are witnessed and are also kept off-site so that you can call upon them in the event of a significant incident.
