Accreditations

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 is very clear that fire safety services should be carried out by a competent person. However, evaluating who is competent is currently not straightforward as no clear guidelines have been established by the government. Since the adoption of the Fire Safety Order, the Fire Safety Industry has been striving to define ‘competence’ more exactly and Metro Safety have had significant involvement in the development of industry standards and best practice.

One of the reasons Metro Safety are accredited and associated with a number of professional bodies is to provide extra reassurance that our exacting standards and procedures are in line with best practice. Verification from recognised industry groups gives our clients peace of mind that our competency is genuine, which is especially important when dealing with matters of compliance. Metro Safety are delighted to be associated with the following organisations and accreditation schemes.
