			<description><![CDATA[In May 2007 a group of 33 cyclists from Metro Safety rode across Spain, from San Sebastian on the Atlantic coast, to Barcelona on the Mediterranean. – a gruelling 480 miles over 6 days. The purpose was to raise money for cancer charities through Jane’s Appeal. <br /><br />Jane Tomlinson was diagnosed with cancer in 2000 and given 6 months to live.<br /><br />Outliving her prognosis by 6 years, she raised over £1.2 million towards cancer charities, for research and patient care. Her last achievement was to complete a coast to coast cycle ride across America. <br /><br />Metro raised a grand total of £38,000 for Jane’s Appeal.<br />]]></description>
