Jane Tomlinson was diagnosed with cancer in 2000 and given 6 months to live.

Outliving her prognosis by 6 years, she raised over £1.2 million towards cancer charities, for research and patient care. Her last achievement was to complete a coast to coast cycle ride across America.

Metro raised a grand total of £38,000 for Jane’s Appeal.
